“When we received word last year that our federal funding for the food box was being cut due to reasons beyond our control we had no idea of what we would do. All we knew was this program had grown into a significant outreach opportunity for us to continue meeting folks touched by HIV who needed Jesus and that God must have a plan. Soon after our crisis had moved to a new challenge after Mission Community in Gilbert offered a significant financial partnership with a matching opportunity. God was beginning to stretch and grow our own faith through this whole process. Later we received word of Palmcroft’s commitment to match the offer from Mission, and before we knew it, we were still in business to provide for our people again. Not only was this an amazing blessing to our ministry, we have also had many opportunities to speak of God’s provision through his people to those we work among in the community.”
