1.7 million kids have a father or mother serving time in prison in the U.S., which means 1.7 million children are left behind and families are torn apart. Angel Tree is a ministry to share God’s love with children and make their wishes come true, and it all starts with a gift. Want to really make a difference and live out the meaning of Christmas this year? Join our team of volunteers as we serve children of incarcerated parents in our neighborhood. Many opportunities exist from behind-the-scenes to the frontline. Indicate your interest on today’s Connection Card, and plan to attend an all-volunteer Angel Tree meeting on Sunday, October 13 at 4:30 p.m. in the E building.
